Place your mesh on a flat surface on top of your pattern, if you have one, with the sticky side up. Then, simply begin sticking your tiles to the mesh, face up. Press firmly so they stick well. The adhesive is strong enough to hold, but light enough so you can very easily pluck misplaced tiles off & move them around.
Next, trim any stray edges from your mesh and prepare your substrate with a thick adhesive (ceramic tile adhesive is good for this step). Finally, place your mesh/mosaic over the adhesive and press down until the adhesive has squished up through the holes in the mesh, onto the backs of your tiles for a permanent hold.
