Alex's Textured Clear Mix Stained Glass Mosaic Tiles

This mix is loaded with a beautiful array of interesting textures! 

About the name:  I started this company in 2002 when my kids were 4, 5 and 6 years old.  After a couple of years, they were showing interest in helping out wherever they could, so I let them each use their creativity to develop their own mixes.  Originally, Alex came up with a "Textured Mirror Mix", which was a big hit with shoppers for years, until the manufacturer stopped making the glass.  By this time, he was overseas in the Army so we chatted on the phone about a solution and he decided to stick with the textured theme.  Next, he sent me on a mission to bring in as many different varieties of clear, textured glass as I could find. So I found 20!  Everything from ripples, flowery patterns, cord, glue chip, some iridized, etc. You'll notice that some are slightly thicker than others.  In the photo a few pieces also appear to have a blue tint, which is common when looking at some clear glass from the side, but when you view it straight on, it's colorless.  One thing is for sure - it's a fun looking mix that proves stained glass is beautiful even without all the pretty colors!
